Established workplaceAccepts general applications
A standing programme or a past notice shows this place uses these workers. No current opening is confirmed.
What we found: The sanctuary explicitly replaced its older long-term volunteer model with an internship program. Current material describes year-round three-month placements combining animal care, facility work and public education; tours are part of the assignment. A food stipend and free on-site housing accompany a full working week. This is a residential internship, not evidence of an ordinary salaried caretaker job. The application allows shared or rustic accommodation, so the main page’s more favorable room description should not be read as a guaranteed private room.
Staffing evidence: Standing programme or repeated hiring at this place. Checked October 9, 2026.
