About ALEXIS LAKE / Tigulhdzin

Located north of the small community of Alexis Creek, Alexis Lake is usually a quiet and peaceful place to camp. This family friendly site has five campsites and a small sandy hill for little ones to play on. There is no designated boat launch in the rec site, but visitors with kayaks or other similarly small vessels can launch from the steep shoreline.

INDIGENOUS TERRITORY: Alexis Lake is situated within the traditional and unceded territory of the Tsilhqot'in (pronounced "sil-ko-teen") Nation.
The Tsilhqot'in name for this area is "Tigulhdzin". Source: Tsilhqot'in National Government.
