About McClure Pit

This 7-unit campground offers a gravel boat launch, 2 outhouses, and spacious sites/parking area for larger units. This site was recently upgraded (2024) thanks to Lakes District Maintenance, which has greatly improved campsite space, parking area, boat launch and roads. This site is easy access off Colleymount Rd. for RV's/Trailers and is a beautiful spot overlooking Francois Lake. There are several fish species available in Francois Lake for anglers.

Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf
