About Nelson Lake Rec Site
This site offers non-motorized access to Nelson Lake via a short trail to the water's edge (approximately 250 metres). Facilities at the site include an outhouse, a short boardwalk, and a dock. Nelson Lake offers good rainbow trout fishing, and is annually stocked with Pennask strain rainbow trout by the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC.

Getting there
Drive west of Prince George via the Blackwater Road. Proceed past Baldy Hughes for approximately 4 km, and the site is located on the right side of the road. Please note that access to the lake is only available via the non-motorized trail.
