Getting there
From the town of Westwold, head south off Hwy 97 onto Ingram FSR until 11km, where the Ingram becomes Jimmy FSR. At 19.5km, turn left onto Spruce Rd, and go 1.1km. Where the bridges used to be, have now been removed, and there is a VERY roughed in 100m long FWD trail before the creek on the left, and joins up to the old Nugget FSR. This section you will find multiple water bars, old washouts, and a lot of windfall from the 2021 Whiterock Fire, so go prepared with a chainsaw, as the road is no longer maintained. It is a further 2.5km from the 4WD trail to Nugget Lake.
