About Upper Kispiox River
Located at km 41 on the Kispiox Valley Trail, an open grassy site above the Kispiox River, with 3 defined campsites and 2 outhouses. The Kispiox River is one of the most productive salmon and steelhead rivers in the area and the Kispiox Valley also has abundant wildlife. The site can be popular with hunters and anglers, especially in the fall. There is a steep, narrow, gravel boat launch for smaller boats, therefore, most visitors choose to hand launch boats.
Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf
