This is a low elevation DAY USE ONLY recreation site located in open grass rangeland.
There are no facilities other than two outhouses (across the road).
DAY USE ONLY - NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING. Camping is permitted at nearby Barnes Lake Recreation Site.
Please use the site responsibly. As per the Forest Recreation Regulations;
All dogs must be on a leash at all times (for all Kamloops Recreation Sites).

Getting there
From Ashcroft, travel along Hwy 97C towards Logan Lake. The highway switchbacks and climbs steeply as you leave Ashcroft. Approximately 9 km from the bridge in Ashcroft, turn north (left) onto Barnes Lake Road. Travel for approximately 1 km to arrive at the lake. Travelling another 1 km you will arrive at Barnes Lake Recreation Site.
