Massachusetts state parks
DCR's Volunteer Host Camping program gives volunteers a free campsite in a state park campground in return for at least 20 hours of work each week. Hosts help with campground upkeep and assist campers and staff, including in emergencies on nights, weekends and holidays. Selection depends on an application, a CORI background check, an interview and the openings each park has.
