National recruiting channels for US host jobs

45 federal portals, concession companies, campground chains, nonprofit networks and job boards that recruit across many states. They overlap the state lists, so do not count them as extra employers.

National recruiting channels explain why a state-parks-only search misses much of the U.S. market. Federal volunteer roles sit alongside paid concession-company jobs, locally managed franchise campgrounds, nonprofit camps, attraction staffing and volunteer RV service networks. The landowner, property brand and employing organisation are often different entities. This report therefore identifies channels and operating relationships rather than adding them to the state total as unique employers. [NAT01–NAT08, NAT11–NAT45] Housing terms need role-level verification. Sun's corporate Destinations programme advertises a $20 nightly site rate, Northgate offers a discount plus work-hour credits, and Island Hospitality's 2027 advertisement differentiates complimentary and discounted sites by property. Selected FIND Outdoors roles provide a campsite plus weekly compensation. An organisation having employee accommodation does not establish a free site for every worker. [NAT21–NAT29] Operator changes also matter. Shenandoah's new concession arrangement begins January 1, 2027; county records identify an ExplorUS-owned operator. Older Vista/RRM branding remains online, while Recreation Resource Management of America is a separate recruitment channel. Use the state documents for specific facilities, and these channels to expand employer discovery, verify ownership and monitor the next hiring cycle. [NAT11–NAT17]

Federal agencies, employees and contractors

Volunteer.gov supports agency volunteer intake. USAJOBS handles federal employment. Concession-company recruiting and SAM.gov procurement are distinct routes with different legal and financial arrangements. A closed solicitation remains a historical employer/contract lead, not an open job. [NAT01–NAT10]

Private operators and franchise brands

Match property, operator, role and season. Network sites can advertise different utility charges or no housing. The same company can appear in multiple state reports because its properties have separate staffing needs. [NAT11–NAT43]

Nonprofit and volunteer RV networks

Camps, outdoor education, gardens and faith-based service projects broaden the field. Membership, faith commitments, background checks and project-specific campsite arrangements belong in the record when the organisation states them. [NAT44–NAT54]

Discovery services

Commercial job boards identify employers and dates worth pursuing. Recheck the employer or agency record before labelling a copied ad current; search snippets and page crawl dates do not establish vacancy dates. [NAT55–NAT58]
