Tatlow Park in Kitsilano had a long-serving live-in caretaker in the park's caretaker residence until his death in December 2021. Vancouver's park caretakers traditionally lived rent-free in exchange for opening, closing and cleaning washrooms. There is no evidence that the role was refilled.
