About Stewart Lake

The site is situated on Stewart Lake. This site has 12 camp pads, a gravel boat launch and fishing dock. The lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout for angling. There is also lots of opportunity in the surrounding area for biking, snowmobiling and hunting.

All sites are first come, first served. There is no fee for overnight camping.

Getting there

From Dawson Creek, drive west on Hwy 97 for 47 km. Turn right (north) on the 275 Rd, travel 9.5 km. Continue straight onto Stewart Lake Rd and travel 23 km. Turn right into the site just after the Mill Rd.

From Fort St. John, drive south on Hwy 97 for 37 km. Turn right (west) on the Braden Rd, travel 1.5 km. Turn right (west) on the Sanataa Rd, travel 16.5 km. Turn right onto Stewart Lake Rd and travel 14 km (to the 23 km marker). Turn right into the site just after the Mill Rd.
